Coffee Board type families separate washed and unwashed Arabica and Robusta. Monsooning and specialty claims add further process, provenance and sensory evidence.
Green coffee only
This batch excludes roasted, ground, instant, flavoured, chicory and premix products. Those need separate composition, formulation, vegan and labelling review.
Arabica
Coffee Board uses Plantation for washed Arabica. It must not be confused with unwashed Arabica Cherry or treated as a grade by itself.
Arabica
Arabica Cherry is the unwashed type; 'cherry' here does not mean shipment as fresh fruit.
Robusta
Robusta Parchment is the washed-Robusta type and requires its own grade, defect and cup specification.
Robusta
Robusta Cherry is the unwashed type and remains distinct from Robusta Parchment.
Arabica
Monsooning is a documented curing process with eligible input coffee, curing works, seasonal handling and a Coffee Board type/grade—not uncontrolled weathering.
Robusta
Monsooned Robusta remains separate from Monsooned Arabica and requires curing/process and lot evidence.
Declared per lot
Specialty is evidence-gated: species/cultivar, estate, process, physical preparation and an agreed independent sensory protocol must attach to the offered lot.
